The client, following its sale to private equity, needed to seperate from its previous owners IT estate and establish a new, standalone technology environment. This required rapid creation of an  IT procurement capability, with the right governance, commercial expertise and supplier management to support a complex, business-critical separation programme.

Tessiant deployed senior procurement expertise to work alongside the grocer’s procurement leadership team, IT stakeholders and executives. We established the IT procurement PMO and governance, helped build the procurement team required to deliver the programme and led strategic negotiations with major technology providers and systems integrators.

We embedded directly into the client team, bringing procurement leadership, structure and pace to the transformation. We developed fit-for-purpose governance and commercial processes, mobilised the procurement capability and led complex negotiations across strategic technology partners including SAP, Workday and Oracle to support delivery of the new IT estate.
