TESSIANT PARTNER WITH TECHNOLOGY INTEGRATOR TO IMPLEMENT MARKETPLACE STRATEGY FOR HIGH STREET RETALER.
A technology integrator partnered with us to create a marketplace strategy and delivery roadmap for a large high street retailer, where we acted as strategic advisors. The client wanted to launch a marketplace on their website, to enable new sellers of consumer products to sell directly online.
We worked closely with the integrated to prepare the RFP response. This helped them to be awarded the contract to deliver this significant programme of work. During programme delivery, we provided support at multiple levels. A retail CIO led the engagement between technology and the business, to ensure key stakeholder buy-in.
We programme-managed the overall delivery, and ran the Change Maagement workstream. We designed the governance and programme structure, created the change management strategy, established the programme office and developed the end-to-end programme delivery plan.
We also supplied deep subject-matter expertise in the form of a resource with extensive experience of ecommerce marketplace platforms.
Currently the programme has been paused due to client budget constraints, ready to recommence in the next financial year.
