HELPING GLOBAL TOY MANUFACTURER SET UP FOR SUCCESSFUL DELIVERY OF A CRITICAL RETAIL PLANNING TRANSFORMATION.
The client were transforming their retail planning operations by deploying a new technology platform. They were in the Design phase as the Senior Director in charge took leave. The organisation needed to supplement the team during this critical time with someone who could support and guide the programme.
Tessiant provided an Interim Director who brought real retail industry experience, process and system design expertise, and change management know-how. As well as providing leadership for the team, we were able to inject external guidance on how to best develop the new functionality, alongside sharing ideas and opportunities to enhance the clients operating model. We got stuck in straight away, helping to drive consensus and make decisions. We were also able to support and up-skill the technology team by sharing industry best practice.
While highlighting additional opportunities for optimising the retail operating model, we demonstrated these live in store, to help engage the Client’s Retail Leadership Team by bringing it to life. We also provided direct support to their VP and SVP to help them align the Executive Leaders on the programme direction.
When the Senior Director returned, we were able to hand over a completed Blueprint, a Change Impact Assessment, and a replanned roadmap resulting from a programme budget adjustment.
