TESSIANT PARTNER WITH CONSULTANCY TO ADVISE BRITISH SUPERMARKET ON MERCHANDISE OPERATIONS SOLUTION
During a Supply Chain Development Programme, price and promotions were identified as a key module to enable a fuller delivery of the Solution for the British Supermarket.
It was identified that technical constraints existed, alongside poorly controlled processes and policies. Improving these things would unlock significant benefits for the Supermarket.
We were asked by the client to partner with a technology consultancy to shape the direction setting. We deployed our Senior Consultant, Ross Macfarlane who worked alongside the technology consultancy’s team and the client’s internal team, with a view to “catching-up” and integrating the module within the broader Programme.
We listened carefully and helped sharpen the scope, set out the big questions to answer, providing clear recommendations, the priorities, the benefits, and costs, as well as the quick wins to get benefit delivered straight-away!
As a result, our recommendations were signed off by the Supermarket Board for delivery in the programme across 2023 onwards.
